Andrew Hogg: Diver Sailor Cyclist Harbourmaster at Port Nelson
“I have owned boats off and on, my favourite boat being a ferro 36fter sailing in Auckland, and was crew member of a Whiting ¼ tonner where we raced out of Port Nicholas Yacht Club – even once did the Nelson race. Was in the Navy 14 years driving ships which took me across the globe in a range of humanitarian, patrolling, enforcement and international relations purposes.
I left as a Commander to join Port Nelson for the dual role as Marine Operations Manager and Harbourmaster. “
